The 2015 Little League Season is here! We welcome back our amazing volunteer umpires from last year and look forward to working with the new team umpire volunteers that will be stepping up this season. If you are returning you know what a great experience it is being on the field serving our amazing young athletes. All volunteer umpires are provided the opportunity to attend FREE world class training that will make you confident when stepping onto the field. It’s going to be a great year!

1) BASIC UMPIRE TRAINING - SAT., JANUARY 31ST
CMNLL led basic umpire training will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 immediately following Back to Baseball on the Majors field from approximately 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm. Training will revolve around the new umpires and will review proper signals/calls, basic plate stance and field mechanics.
2) D62 RULES TRAINING DATES AND TIMES
All rules meetings will be held at Old World Village in the main hall. Attendance by Umpires and Managers is mandatory and highly recommended for all coaches and others looking to learn the rules of Little League Baseball.

3) UMPIRE RULES TRAINING INFORMATION
The following mechanics courses are only required to be attended by Umpires. One of the 4 hour Fast Start dates is requires (pick any) but more can be attended.

February 7th 8:00 am - 12:00 noon Seaview &Huntington Valley at HVLL Fileds
February 7th 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Costa Mesa American/National at Nationals LL Fields
February 8th 8:00 am - 12:00 noon Robinwood & Westminster (Now Huntington West) at Robinwood Fields
February 21st 8:00 am - 12:00 noon Ocean View & Fountain Valley LL at OVLL Fields
4) D62 CERTIFICATION
Any Umpire seeking D62 Certification which allows the umpire to work TOC and All Star games is required to attend all of the rules classes, one Fast Start Clinic and the 8 hour clinic listed below. In addition to the training, the umpire seeking certification is required to work two games (one base, one plate) with a D62 Staff Umpire which can be at any field including our own.
